My accomodation is a "Studio" located in the town center of Antibes. The flat is situated on Place De Gaulle - the largest square of the historical town of Antibes - 500m from the sea and beaches, 5 mins from the bustling sea-side resort of Juan les Pins and close to stores and grocery shops.

Next day I met with Maike, another German Exchange Student. We went to the port again and decided to have a short glance at CERAM already.

Wednesday Maike, Evens, Bernd an me went to Nice by train which took us about half an our from Antibes. Sometimes the rails are really close to the sea permetting a beautiful view into the deep blue.

Thursday the first Orientation day took place in Sophia Antipolis starting with a "petit déjeuner". Some things for the matriculation and the course choices had to be organised. In the evening, a students association organised a Welcome Party at the beach in Juan les Pins. First we met at Bernd's and Even's home in Juan les Pins and afterwards we went to the party!

There was a fashion show in the afternoon at Place de Gaulle we went to. Afterwards: beach at Antibes.
